When people make horse videos?

Am I the only one who thinks that using someone else's clips IS stealing? The only way it is NOT stealing is if they specificly give you permission. Also, just saying it's not yours doesn't justify taking it. It's like going in a clothing store, taking something, walking out, wearing it, but making sure everyone knows it's not yours? Same idea. When people take pro-stallions, or other website's clips, it is stealing. Do you agree, yes or no?

There are places that your allowed to download videos from and use for free! I used them and when I put them on Youtube. Youtube then Emails me(after they do a copyright search) and sends an email to the person you took the information from and informs them of the use on Youtube they usually check it out and accept it. Or if they don't accept it they(Youtube) can delete it! If you or the websites don't want people to take it they put a restriction or copyright symbol on it! I really wouldn't worry what other people do... if you don't want your videos to be used or stolen don't post them or put a copy restriction on them!!

What are they using these clips for? I download pretty pictures of other peoples horses just for me. I don't really do anything with them. Is this what you mean?

Its a free country, and sorry if you did not put a patent on it, and you left out there for someone to get a hold of it, its up for grabs.

If I put my tv out on my curb, it would more than likely be gone.

Once it is out in the open its up for grabs.

Well if it's not copyrighted they you can take it. But most people ask if they can, if not they are in violation of the law.

Yes... its actually illegal to pilfer/steal other peoples personal pictures, vids.... HOWEVER... when you post a picture or vid onto websites such as myspace/facebook/youtube, you are reliquishing your rights of ownership, and these sites have that in their terms of condition, which no one ever reads... but every one just ticks the box so they can sign up... so no its not stealing if people make collage video's of other peoples pics/vids they have collected of the net... i dont really see the harm... some people dont have their own horse to film and take pics of, so let them... if you dont want others using your material, either dont post it... or disable it from being copied... best wishes :)

OMIGOD I totally agree with you, all those people are retards. IT IS COPYRIGHTED YOU IDIOTS, omigod seriously, and just because its a "free country" doesn't mean  you can steal. you are totally taking america for granted you un-american person, which ever one u are!!!

I say YES, YES it is!!!! that is why Youtube is DELETING every accoutn with COPYRIGHTED material in their videos

LIttle hint.. if its on the web and not locked under a program, then it's up for grabs as long as you give the person credit for the information that is being uses, which means they just "borrowed" it.

omg thank you!!!!  you hav no idea how pissed i get about that. more and more people are stealing clips from that website.  I however was smart enough to email the owner & ask if i could use his stallion videos & he kindly said no I didnt use them.  

i have to be honest though, i hav done my fair share of clip taking...especially for falls videos =/  i asked for all of them & got permission, but i still took them & now i hav about 7 or 8 horse falls videos.  i dont want to sound like i invented this or started this, but as soon as i started doing my filming off the screen to use other youtube videos, people immediatley starting doing that & now youtube is just overfilled with poor quality horse falls videos b/c all they want is views.
