When people talking about "good snow" in ski resort? Exactly what "Good snow" means?

What and When is good for snow ski?

Consistent texture that is slippery without ice, it need not be powder, but that helps.  Powder is very dry with a large amount of air. Not all fresh snow is powder some is just snow, some is Sierra Cement,  Cascade Concrete, or even Seattle Sludge.  Good snow is just that, it's good for sliding, with a controllable texture.

Real snow.  Not icey not crunchy. Nice fresh powder.  It makes it better to ski.

The perfect snow. Not to powdery, not too icy. Fresh but not exactly fresh. Not to thin or thick. And The best snow comes in Late December to Early February.
