  4. Well you want some thick snow thats powdery but not icy because yeah that hurts but you want a bunch of soft snow bvut alot of it thats good snow

  9. Consistent texture that is slippery without ice, it need not be powder, but that helps.  Powder is very dry with a large amount of air. Not all fresh snow is powder some is just snow, some is Sierra Cement,  Cascade Concrete, or even Seattle Sludge.  Good snow is just that, it's good for sliding, with a controllable texture.
