  1. In the context you describe, it means "Public Display of Affection."  For example, someone might say to a couple, "No PDA around here."

In another context, it frequently means a Personal Digital Assistant (i.e., an electronic handheld information device that may combine computing, telephone/fax, Internet and networking features).

  2. personal digital assistant (Palm Pilot)

  3. Public display of affection

  4. PDA = Public Display of Affection

in describing a couple they likely mean that they're all over each other.  I've never heard of this term used in describing a single person though.

PDA could also stand for Personal Digital Assistant, which are electronic devices similar to a handheld PC I guess you could say, that you can use to track appointments, keep notes, etc (palm pilot is one example, I'm sure there are plenty of others that are siminlar)

  5. Public Display of Affection?
