  1. I don't think you could find that out...

  2. You don't win, you are awarded, usually private to protect one of the parties from,   people like you?

  3. It depends on the judgment but not usually.

  4. Absolutely.  If a judge or jury decides on a settlement, tt would become part of public record unless one party can provide evidence that they would be harmed by having it become public record.

In cases involving insurance companies, insurance companies will usually avoid this by reaching a settlement out of court, requiring that you not disclose the amount and that you withdraw the case.

  5. Usually it is undisclosed....if it is a large amount.

  6. Yes, unless it was ordered not to be part of the public record as part of the settlement.

  7. Usually.  I would think that is part of the public record.

  8.      If there is not a non-disclosure term in the judgment, then it is public record somewhere, you just have to spend the energy to find it.

  9. If it's a large settlement. Or even a small one , but the circumstances would be embarrassing to the company. (dangerous product, etc) they may make sealing the record a part of the settlement and require you not to ever discuss it either.
