When photo shop picture how do add letters to picture?

In the tool bar, there should be a capital T.  click and hold, drag the space, type, change font, and stuff, then move around to spot you want.

on the tool bar on the left click on the symbols that says "T" FOR TEXT , then click on the white page and start typing ....
