  1. You do need to yield to the traffic.... unless you have a green arrow, but i dont know what the question is

  2. well, first you shouldn't wait in the middle of the intersection... you can technically be ticketed for 'blocking the intersection' but most cops don't bother.  but, you should wait behind the white line until there is an opening.

  4. When planning to make a left turn across an intersection and you are waiting in the middle of the intersection you wait till there are no cars coming and then you proceed with your turn.

    Simple.

Soon you'll be doing it like a pro.

  5. You just made a statement without asking any question. Hopefully the second answer covered what you wanted to know.

  6. If you have a left turn arrow, proceed. If the arrow disappears, but you still have a green light, go to the middle of the intersection and let everyone else on the opposite side pass-it's their right of way, before going.  As long as you are in the middle of the intersection, when the light turns yellow and then red, you will not get a ticket.  You can still make a turn on a red light when you're in the middle of the intersection, otherwise you'll cause an accident.  It would be a different story if you drove to the middle of the intersection on a red light--then the police can ticket you.
