When playing the dart games 301 or 501 do most people play double in?

The games seem so simple. I think adding that part makes the games a little more challenging.

The accepted international standard is 501 with a straight (no double) start, but you must double out. It's the great equalizer, like putting in a golf match - you can hit numbers all day to get down in points, but the little skinny outer ring wins the game!
