When playing volleyball out in the rain, what do you normally wear?

A. Shirt, short, sneakers and socks

B. Shirt, shorts, but barefoot

C. Swimwear, sneakers and socks

D. Swimwear and bare feet

I'm thinking of having a volleyball party in my backyard. I want to have it even if it rains as long as it is not a thunderstorm. I am wondering what to tell people to bring.

Well if it was just social I'd be in favor of either B or D but you should give them the option of shoes as well.

Personally I'd go with B because I always play volleyball barefoot for training and social events (just not official games) however I do usually wear my swim wear underneath so I can just strip when I start playing and get hot.

On a warm day however it will be D.

ANYTHING YOU WANT!!  just tell people you are going to play vball.  those who want to play, will dress appropriately.  JUST DON'T WEAR WHITE!!!

depending on wether its cold or hot... if its cold and raining you guys are going to get pneumonia but here are a few tips...

definitley barefoot

if its warm.. wear shirt and shorts or swimwear if you'd like

if its cold.. i would wear a sweatshirt and basketball shorts

Id wear a long sleeve under armour shirt. and shorts.

if you want to wear spandex shorts you can, because if you get them muddy they're easier to clean then reglar shorts.'

swimwear is good if you live where its warm.

If it is cold it might not be the best thing to go barefoot.

Also, if the grass is wet, be careful when moving and jumping. It is soooo easy to slip.( If my ankle wasnt so flexible i would have sprained it the other day).

Also tell the guests to bring a towel or a change of clothes if it rains.

If you wont be playing the whole time maybe a windbreaker jacket and pants would be good.

however, i hope that it is a nice sunny day for your party.

well considering if it didn't rain, I'd just tell people to wear the usual spandex and shirt.  Maybe not flipflops but socks and sneakers could get messy.  If you want to be safe, tell people to wear their swimsuits under their clothes- besides, halters look cute under tank tops.  :) best of luck!

it depends on if it is cold or not if it is cold were sweats and a rain jacket kip and warm spandex and a jacket pull over if possible and maybe a rain jacket for shoes wear on shoes or shoes

I'm always barefoot, and I don't mind getting my feet wet, but in my climate I don't play games in the rain. I think I'd want to wear shirt and shorts still, but really isn't that up to anyone to decide what to wear? Tell them what you're planning and that you would like to play even if it rains and they'll show up in what they're most comfortable in.
