When pouring a concrete patio, do you have to put in rebar or wiring? Concrete will be 4 inches deep.?

Im curious is most concrete companies have gotten away from using Rebar and wiring. And is adding fiberglass to the concrete a good thing. ? The patio will be 15 feet by 24 feet and the slab will be 4 inches thick.

Yes - use reinforcement for a slab this size. Also score to prevent cracking, especially if you are in an area where freezing conditions prevail.

It only takes a fraction of an inch of settlement to crack a poured concrete slab.
