  1. I always go to the right.  But sometimes I try to guage which direction they are going in so I can do the opposite.  Usually I put my hands on their shoulders to avoid a collision and make some quip like, "Hey, wanna dance?"

  2. when u walk down a hallway or a sidewalk, ur supposed to stay on the right side, so that whole awkward "im about to walk into u" thing doesnt happen.  but people are stupid n cant get that through their dumbass head.

  3. They say that you're supposed to just pass on the side you're closest to, but that doesn't always work... and then you get into the awkward little back and forth thing, where you are both ending up going the same direction and blocking each other's way (REPEATEDLY) and it's really embarrassing and you both end up blushing and laughing cause you both fell REALLY stupid. yeah, anyway...

I'd say pass like you're on a two-way traffic road. You stay on the right going your direction and they stay on the right going their direction and you'll both avoid embarrassment.

  4. Lawrence is correct. Always go to your right.

  5. The rule is that you both do a silly little side-step dance until one person stops and lets the other go by.

Of course, depending on what the other person looks like you might just want to go straight on!

  6. ALWAYS stay to the right.
