  1. Usually, you can continue your regular workout routine throughout pregnancy as long as you're already accustomed to it. Don't start any new routines though. Just ask your doctor to make sure you have no complications and everything is running smoothly and you should be fine.

  2. Most doctors say you can continue any exercise routine you were on pre-pregnancy for as long as it's comfortable, but just to be safe, I would maybe hold off on the running on the treadmill until you confirm your pregnancy and talk to your doctor.  Maybe try a brisk walk? That way you won't be worrying yourself.  Congratulations if you are pregnant!

  3. If you exercised before you got pregnant than you should still be able to keep up the same routine whilst you are pregnant.

  4. only when you get a slightly large bump... swimming is best for it... but u don't have to worry about that just yet.

  5. hiya you should be ok as long as you don't overdo it, u might be better off having a word with one of the trainers there so they can advise you of what you should/shouldn't be doing, also you will need to tell the receptionist that you are pregnant then he/she can put in in your gym notes, that's what i did and they were really good with me, take care and don't be overdoing it xx

  6. I asked my midwife this. She said as long as you dont do anything that pulls on ur abdominal area then your body can cope with what it's used to. I'd check with your midwife though as each persons body and pregnancy is different.

  7. It all depends on how long you have been going to the gym.

If you have been a regular gym goer for years, then its safe as your body is used to it (but only as long as you feel comfortable).

The advice i just gave you is what my personal trainer at the gym gave to me when i was pregnant, and i double checked this with my midwife and she agreed. I managed to carry on until i was 5 months gone, and then carried on going, but doing lower intensity after that.

I would ask a trainer/manager at your gym, and also make sure with your midwife.

  8. No, it will not cause a miscarriage if you do those on a regular basis anyway. Talk to your doctor about what you should and should not do.

  9. Ask you doctor first.  Most of the time if you worked out prior you should be fine.  As long as your not lifting weights or doing something overboard.    I am 31 weeks along and I have been working out the whole time.

  10. Yes its fine to continue at the gym. Im 20 weeks pregnant and still going I asked my doctor before hand, and told all the trainers at the gym, they altered my routine for me as to not put pressure on the tummy and I have to keep my heart rate at 50%. I believe that it will hep you in the long run, you'll have more endurance for the labour and hopefully get your figure back quicker

  11. no it is not you are suppose to do a light exercise workout

  12. I wouldn't risk it hunny. x
