Question:

When putting a snooker table in a room, how much space is needed at each end of the table?

  1. a good 5 ft is enough, so that you can see the table clearly, and have the stick not bang against the wall....


  2. Not even -Like my freinds say at least 5 i would prefer 8  i like to step back and look at at shot sometimes  but you could manage with 5 or 6

  3. 2 feet is not nearly enough. A cue is around 5 feet long, so you need at least that for when the cue ball is up against the rail. You may be able to get away with 4 feet and a short cue, but 2 feet would be completely unacceptable.

  4. at least 5 foot, i perfer about 5 1/2' all the way around the table. so if u have a 5x10' snooker table, you will need 15'x20' space, otherwise you will be shortsticking it, and thats no fun. good luck, any questions, feel free to ask.
