When putting a turbo charger on a car, do both exhaust manifolds need to go to the turbine?

i want to put a turbo on my car and i'm wonering if both manifolds need to be attached to the turbine part or if one is good enough

you only need the driving pressure from one manifold to push the turbo.

you need to put both on the turbo compressor. your turbo runs off your exhaust and if your only getting half the exhaust you will not get efficient power to the turbo and can cause some damage.
