  1. DS= Dear son

    DD= Dear daughter

  2. I ahve wondered the same thing for ever now... another pone I did not get was DH.. now I know: dear husband:)

  3. I have no idea, I know on most forums they use these abbreviations but I stick to daughter or son and as for referring to your partner as DH (darling husband) pass the puke bucket please. LOL, im not knocking those that do but if I write on a forum and mention my partner I dont want replies calling him my DH.

    I'm guilty of writing MIL but only usually in response to someone asking a question about their MIL...I think MIL sounds awful which actually sums up my mother in law extremely well!!

  4. DS is dear son and DD is dear daughter

  5. I am on lots of different yahoo and other sites and we use these all the time. Sorry i could be one of the guilty parties.

    As far as DH, it depends on whether you are mad at your hubby when you write it. The D & H  can stand for other things!!

    I've seen MIL on here a lot, thats mother in law.

  6. I was wondering the same thing, b/c I saw one that said DH and I thought they meant dumb husband. :)
