  1. The difference between exterior/interior  is that you have a window with views to the street, interior means to a patio, you dont see the street,

exterior you see people walking on the st, passing cars, whatever happens in the st, and interior you may see roofs,

other patios, terrzces  wahtever... we normaly prefer exterior, even thoug it may be noiser. Yes ????

  2. Rent a room with an exterior view, much more natural light to the street generally. Interior means looking into the "patio de luz" (light patio) which is a grand description of a poor view. If on the ground floor you could be ok as it could actually open into the patio area, but higher up you will be looking at 4 walls outside, depressing and morbid. I would never rent or buy a flat with a paito de luz, sadly there are many in Spain as most blocks are back to back.

  3. what gmaite has said is perfectly correct but depending if you are groundfloor or higher means more or less natural light.fifth or sixth floor you get a good lot of natural light for instance.

  4. Not exactly. When it's interior it means that it may have a window, but not to the street, it is to a court or similar. You will not have  view to the street but to a building, maybe, and you will have little natural light.

  5. It probably means you'll either have a window or not
