When revising, do you find it easier to...?

1. Study little bits often

2. Or revise big chunks not-so-often?

Personally, I put the paper aside for a day or two, just to clear it out of my head.  Then, I sit down and revise the entire piece.  This was even true of my term papers in college... all 15 pages or so in one sitting.
