When riding a golf cart how many miles will you still walk when playing 18 holes?

In a 18 hole round of golf walking it is about 7-8 miles with all things considered. How many miles do you still walk when riding a cart for 18 holes.?

That would depend on how good a golfer you are!

If you hit alot of flub shots and miss the ball or hit the wrong direction youll get more walking in :)

Not much at all.  You drive your cart to near your ball, get off, hit the ball, and get on.  The only longer walk would be when you park your cart beside the green and walk to it.  I think in total probably in the 400 yards range for 18 hole.

If you take into account that you would walk a minimum of 10 feet per shot on the fairway, 30 feet for every tee box, and at least 100 feet per green.  That would be (30*18) + (100 * 18) + (30 * 10).  Take into account if you are not allowed to drive to the ball from off the cart path you can add another (12 * 150 to 200 feet).  That would be about 1680 yds.  That would be slighty less then a mile.  That does not take into account the walk to a restroom or snack bar or searching out of bounds if you lost a ball, so add about another half mile.  Good luck

that depends on how good of a golfer you are and the size of the golf course.

Your first statistic is incorrect. The lenght of the average course is 6000 to 6500 yards. In between holes yardage is another 500 yards. So you are looking at a little over 4 miles. So getting into and out of the cart, walking from the parking areas to the tees and greens, the drink stand and the johns along with the short distances from the cart to the ball on the intermediate shots,one will walk a mile to a mile and a half tops.

not very much at all, but it would depend on the course. if you are allowed to drive on the fairways then you pretty much arent walking at all, maybe 10-20 ft on each shot in the fairway and 30-60 ft to each green. so overall maybe around 700 ft to 1400 ft, which isnt even a half mile at most. To begin with golfing isnt the best exercise, so riding is pretty much like walking around your house.
