im riding on the plane by myself and this is all new to me im under the age of 18 and i was wondering if i had to show a photo id or do my mother

  1. Yes. A driving license or passport or some valid "photo" Id will work.


  2. You don't NEED to show ID, but if you have govt or school ID that  will make the process a lot easier, especially if you are not travelling as an unaccompanied minor.   Your parents will need to show ID if they are dropping you off as a UM and want a gate pass.


  3. I'm pretty sure the rule still is that at 16 you need photo ID to get through the gate. Last time I flew was about a month ago and it was still 16.

    If your over 16 just bring your passport or drivers license.
