  1. Yes, because they might have a problem, in which you would need to solve first. Such as a broken item, etc...

  2. No.

Typically, I wait to see how long it takes for them to pay for their item and that is what I comment on.

It probably IS a better idea to wait for them to comment, but there is the chance they're waiting for you to comment. Some even wait for their item to come.

I'd say, comment as soon as you get paid, but you can be the judge on this.

  3. My experience has been that sellers usually do this,I feel like many sellers wait to see what kind of feedback you’ll leave them before leaving it for you. Once I’ve paid you, my obligation is complete, and you should leave feedback for me.

  4. Personally no i don't wait, i've sold something, the buyer has paid immediately or within good time then i always leave positive feedback straight away. Otherwise it's just plain rude and those sellers who wait to leave feedback are only doing it because they want to reciprocate negative or neutral feedback which is unfair. Don't sell rubbish stuff in the first place and no one will leave you bad feedback!

  5. Yes you do.

  6. boo hoo if you dont leave feedback for me I wont leave feedback for you

  7. Yea most likely

But whatever you feel comfertable with I guess!! :)

  8. This has been a subject of ‘debate’ since ebay was founded. I side with those who say sellers should post feedback first.  The reason? If you are a good seller, selling quality merchandise that has been described accurately / honestly and you are providing good service, there is absolutely no reason you should fear any repercussions from buyers. After you have received payment, the buyer has fulfilled his part of the agreement. Once the item has been mailed, good sellers will post feedback and notify their buyers that their item has shipped and when to expect it.  At this point, the SELLER’S JOB IS DONE! I also dislike those impersonal form emails that notify buyers of shipping. I suggest you use that ‘personal touch.’  (Of course, I can understand power sellers being impersonal in their emails)

You may want to use something along these lines for a seller’s email:

    Hi Buyer’s FIRST NAME HERE,

    Just to keep you updated……………………….

Thanks for your payment! I mailed your widget this morning via USPS Priority Mail from Schickshinny, PA. You should receive it Saturday or Monday. I have also posted positive feedback for you. Please do the same for me if everything is satisfactory when your widget arrives. If, however, you are displeased with your purchase and you feel the item is not as I described it, please email me. I will rectify the situation to your satisfaction.

Again, thanks for bidding and congratulations on winning!

    It has been a pleasure!

    Regards,

    Your name here

On the other hand, there are those sellers who sell shoddy or broken merchandise and don’t describe their items fully, accurately or who are ‘less than honest’ in their descriptions. It would be these sellers who would be reluctant to post feedback first.

Most buyers will post feedback. They may not do it immediately and it may take months.  I also think it very unprofessional for a seller to email a buyer and ‘BEG’ for feedback.  So you get one less feedback, so what?  What’s more important, payment for the item or one feedback posting?

  9. I don't leave feedback for buyers.

  10. i sell a lot on e-bay and i leave feedback for the buyer immediately after i receive their payment.

  11. I always do...the feedback they are giving you is more important than the feedback you will give them. If they don't do it within 2 weeks, I usually email them. Upon them leaving feedback, I do the same...hopefully they are not doing the same thing you are though! Contact is the best answer if nothing happens in 2 weeks.

  12. Everytime ! I will wait until the buyer leaves feedback  and If I have to  chase them till they do... too many people dont leave feedback, and without Feedback how would you know who's good and whos not !.

  13. i personally leave feedback as soon as the item is paid for because as far as i'm concerned their (the buyer's)  part is done and they n turn leave my feedback when they've recieved their item

ravenfury84 on eBay for your makeup needs!

  14. In my opnion no. I feel that as soon as the buyer has paid for thier goods they have completed their part of the contract and should therefore receive their feedback. They should leave their feedback when they have recieved their goods.
