When selling on eBay, does it cost more to do a shorter auction?

I know the typical auction goes for 7 days so do they charge you more for 5 day or even 3 day auctions?

you can sell on http://uniqueauction.com for alot less, and get more then your asking price. it is really unique you have to see it to beleave it. you can a laptop for less then 20dollars cars for less then 200 etc.... everything is less the 99% of the retail value.
