On the outside envlope, that everything goes in we are using labels (neither of us have good handwriting, and we aren't paying a calligrapher) for the addresses and return addresses, as well as reply envlope return labels.

Anyways, my question is on the inside envelope, can we just write "Uncle Bob and Aunt Sally" in pen?

My mom has not too bad writing, I was thinking of having her do that.....thanks!

  1. I'm sure many people are going to answer that all parts of the invitation should be handwritten...But, in today's technology, labels are fine and if you would like to handwrite in the inner envelope, go for it.  I personally, would just use labels too or print directly on the envelopes.

  2. Yes, it's nice to handwrite the inside envelopes, since that's where you are using the familiar, personal names of your guests. No need for labels, as long as the person writing has legible writing - it doesn't have to be fancy script or anything.
