  1. it usually itches if you do it too often or not often enough.  i usually do it about every other day.  razor burn is hard not to get but it feels better if you put lotion on it and it lessens the more you do it.  i think it works better if you first shave in the direction of the hair (less painful) and then reshave in the opposite direction to get a close shave.  you just kinda gotta learn what works for you

  2. use a little bit of shaving cream and only shave downwards.

  3. I know women who swear by diaper rash creme for bikini razor burn and they say it clears it up within minutes and provides relief.

  4. They sell kits at like wal-mart.

you buy the special bikini line razor

cut the hair real short (if it has gotten to long)

make sure you use plenty of shave cream (soap wont cut it)

move the blade with the direction of the hair to avoid getting ingrown hair (that really hurts/itches)

you have to keep it up, the hair growing in is what will itch the most.

if you don't want to have to shave all the time, you can use a hair removal kit (not waxing, that hurts and is embarrassing for some people)

I use nair bikini cream. I hate the smell of nair, yes, but 3 minutes will get you smooth without any chance of razor burn.

they have a kind for sensitive skin too, just in case.

here's the website for the bikini area nair:

  5. Ok so this may sound a little funny but I had a friend who was a  "dancer" and she taught me a few tricks for shaving... First of all use a good/new razor. this is very important! shave with baby oil (you have to replace your razor often, I replace mine every week) and this is the best trick ever.... when you get razor burn swipe your deodorant over it. I swear it works! Every time I get razor burn I take a deodorant stick (I have a dedicated "hoo" stick that I use only for this) and just swipe (I only do the top part though) I hope this helps... I works great for me and I shave everything and also have sensitive skin! Good luck!

  6. Like they said, shave downwards instead of against the hair, and shave regularly (every two days or so).

Also:  if you put, weird as it sounds, a bit of deodorant on the freshly shaved places, it helps--tremendously.

  7. Make sure you use enough shaving cream, and only shave in one direction, down.

Don't shave against the direction the hair grows, you know what I mean?
