Id like to ship something to an ebay buyer but I want to save on buying the yellow envelope which costs a dollar. Is there a difference on the shipping price if I use a usps carton envelope or a bubbled yellow envelope. is the cost priced on weight only? please help, thank you.

  1. Well, you have to pay for the USPS envelope, unless you're sending the package priority or express mail (they have free envelopes for those). Their padded mailers are more than $1, so getting a yellow envelope is probably a cheaper option. Otherwise, the price is simply based on weight, no matter which envelope you use (again, unless you send it priority, where you can opt for the flat rate). Hope this helps!
