  1. Personally what i do, is i change my toothbrush once the bristles start tearing.

You should also rinse out your toothbrush with hot water to kill any bacteria and germs.

Like many have said usually, it's 3 months with exception to electric toothbrushes. But if you have been sick or have gum disease, change ever 4-6 weeks instead because of the harboring bacteria.

  2. usually after about 6 months

  3. i change mine every month because i cant stand a soft brush and plus my teeth && gums are used to harder brushes but idk i guess whenever you feel like u need too!

  4. about every three, depending on how it looks. if its getting fuzzy tips change it. and  if you've gotten sick, strep throat or any thing big like that, change it.

  5. recommended every 3 months, but you could get away with six if you put your bruch in bleach every week.  make sure to rinse it well.

  6. Dentist always told me every 6 months.

  7. You are supposed to change them every 3 months. I don't tho. Of course, if it resembles an old doll's hair, maybe you should.

Bacteria?? Just soak it in rubbing alcohol or Listerine if you're afraid of that. I have never changed my t-brush every 3 months, in fact, have had some of them for years. NEVER had a problem with bacteria. NEVER had gum disease. I think the toothbrush people just tell you that so they can sell more of them.

  8. When the blue part starts to fade to white its time for a new one.

  9. You should not use your toothbrush more than six months.

  10. every 3 months......and what's with the whole 'shld v' thing?

  11. the nylon brissltes become soft........a new brush cleansbest!

  12. Every 3 months

  13. Who the h**l is 'v' . How are we supposed to know when he/she is supposed to change his/her toothbrush if we don't even know who you are talking about?

Is this ' v ' a young child, a grown adult or just the product of poor schooling followed by the lack of interest in our English language?

  14. every 3 months any longer the bristles get worn down and don't remove plaque properly

  15. about 3 months but do wat i do...i have a vibrating one or w/e its called & i just change the brush part.

  16. i change it like like once every 6 months...is that gross?

    haha

  17. you should change your toothbrush every 3 months...cause the bristles, and the baterica build up..yuck yuck lol

  18. Ha-ha, maybe every 3 months.

  19. the standard answer is three months, or when the bristles start to bend, or if the toothbrush otherwise looks haggard. but to keep it reasonably clean during the three months, you probably should soak it in an antibacterial mouthwash or put it in the diswasher occassionally, although that tends to wear out the brush quicker.
