When should I be taking the PCAT?

I am going to be finishing up my pre-req's this coming spring and am hoping to start pharmacy school next fall (2009). I was thinking of signing up for the October PCAT. Is that soon enough? Will it give enough time to get the scores to the schools I will apply to? I don't want to take it in August because I haven't taken any organic chemistry yet and I don't want to bomb that portion of the test. Any insight would be helpful.

You have to take the October one.  The one in January will be too late.  You should already have started your PharmCAS application.
