When should I book a US domestic flight to get the cheapest price.?

I am flying from Albany, NY to Orlando, FL for late August. When should I book the flight to get the cheapest price. Should I book it as early as possible? Also, does anyone know of any website that offers cheap tickets? I am currently using Kayak.com

I have used www.farecast.com to look up future pricing predictions for many airlines.

Generally, you can get the best fare directly through an airline's website.  You won't have to pay booking fees, and some airlines offer price matching if you can find a better fare on another website.

Try using a "dates flexible" search.

Start looking now...and have a travel agent help you.  If you insist on booking on the internet be sure that you are looking at prices that include all taxes and fees, not just the base fare.  Orlando has a lot of flights, but it is also a heavy traffic area, so starting now is a good idea.  Rule of thumb:  You want to book at least 21 days out to get the best domestic flight prices.

try booking your flight for midweek with on overnight stay on Saturday be flexible with the dates and when you see a price you like book it always book early this site is usually cheaper than kayak.  go to vaca packages u.s. link on the left hand side
