When should I contact to the company that I had an interview offer?

So I had this interview offer from this company. When I sent an email that saying I am interested in, the recruiter was in her vacation for 2 weeks!

I asked my friend that's businessman and he said that I should wait until she finishes her vacation.

Now, she is supposed to be working from today. Do you think I should wait until she contact me since she should be very busy today from maybe getting lots of emails and voice messages? Or do you think I should call her and remind her that I am interested in having an interview?

What would you do?

I would call her.  She contacted you and you haven't heard from her for two weeks.

Definitely give her a call back..If she was interested in interviewing you before she left, shes still interested. Maybe she forgot and you're just reminding her.
