When should I give this poem to this girl?

Question

I meet this girl and she is from where I am currently living but she is only back for the summer and is going to move back to California where she has been living for the last 4 years. We both are really into each other and I wrote her this poem when should I give it to her. ASAP or should it be the last thing I say/give to her before she goes back home.

Woke up this Sunday morning feeling pensive - A

Thinking about you, wondering why we are falling… - B

In our two separate worlds there will be no forestalling- B

No longer in control these feelings so intensive - A

Will fear of being apart but us on the defensive - A

If we choose each other space will be our division - B

Survive the adversity of separation and just envision - B

Love will take control and go on the offensive - A

If we chose to have eros love - C

We will need strength to cherish - D

With Christ we can do all things - E

Sand in this hour glass is about to empty of - C

Please God don’t let us perish - D

Hurry give me your hand, let me be your King - E

i would give it to her the day she leaves, so she'll be thinking about you the whole time she's headed back to california.

i think the poem is very romantic :)

it's kind of off rhythm in a way?

don't let anyone give you changes on it though;

it came from you and evidently had sentimental value;

don't change that.

that is a great poem. give it to her right before she leaves so she will be able to think about it on her way home. good luck;)

depends on the girl you like. if shes nice then give it to her but if she bitchy then well...

Thats a good poem and i think your girl will like it. but you might need to make it a little less formal. make it sound like a guy wrote it. its really good and i love all the words just make it more...i dont know its hard to explain. just leave it. its good and i think she will like it. but i would give it to her as shes leaving so she has it forever and she can have it with her and it will keep her mind on you. good luck!

DO NOT LISTNEN TO ANYONE WHO SAID YOUR POEM IS BAD!! Shame on them! Ask her if she would like to hang out once more before you have to separate and give her the poem, but tell her not to read it until you are apart. I think what you wrote is from your heart. And I will let you in on a secrect, it wouldnt matter if your poem sucked anyways because if shes a decent girl she will know it came from your heart, and she will appriciate that. I think its cute, so GOOD LUCK!!! Dont be nervous.
