When should I plan my daughter's 7th Birthday party?

I am due on Oct 22nd. My daughter turns 7 on Oct 31st. But I only have her during the week and every other weekend. On the other weekends she is with her father. Is Oct 4th too early to plan her b-day party? I could plan it Oct 18th, but what if I go into labor?

WOW! your daughter is a Halloween baby.... Plan on the first weekend after the baby is born or when her father doesn't have her. If all goes well with your delivery, you shouldn't be in the hospital very long and this will give your guests a chance to see the new arrival. I too have 2 sons who's birthdays are very close and i had given birth to one and had a birthday party for the other. I felt fine and it was actually better, only because the baby slept most of the party time and gave me a chance to visit with others. you would have lots of people to help.

i would suggest doin it earlier, you are goin to be busy with the baby afterwords and since babies never give you advanced notice.... she should understand if shes goin to be 7. most kids dont' seem to care when their party is, but i would save at least 1 gift back to give her on her actual birthday so that she knows you didn't forget the date:)
