  1. Come on Daisy - at least wait until my birthday has passed!

(It's December 11th - I just thought I'd tell you so that I get my pressies on the right day... you are gonna get me one, right?)

  2. why did you take them down? in our area they are up all year round , they just don't light them up (but that's council workers for you , lazy sods)

  3. 12 days before CHRISTMASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs

  4. thanksgiving week or the week after is the best

  5. Far to early. We put our christmas decorations up on the first or second weekend of advent.

  6. thanksgiving weekend would probably be best...just my opinon though...

  7. Too early? A tad.

    ;)

  8. Golly Daisy, are they not up already.  Into the attic with you for the box of lights immediately - to h*ll with global warming.

  9. Are you for real, surely xmas lights should go up in december!! Or do you celebrate xmas in September???

  10. omg idont put them up or any decorations until november / december

  11. I believe its the correct etiquette to allow the August bank holiday weekend to pass before one starts pedalling the old Christmas c**p.

  12. You mean they aint up already?! What kind of chav are you??!!

  13. Mine are already up.

  14. Isn't the outside of your house already painted red and green. With pictures of little people in hats and bells on their toes?  What else ya gonna put up, twinkly angels?

  15. Don't tell anyone but I've still got mine up.

As long as you don't switch them on, nobody notices :-)

Saves all that hassle in December when you're not in the mood for hard work.

  16. How about you wait until Thanksgiving.

  17. It's to early for christmas decorations... ba humbug

  18. Santa Claus should be taken out and shot at dawn, for bringing more misery to people than Isreal and Russia combined

  19. You mean you havent got them up yet? Slacker!

  20. wait until christmas

  21. put up your xmas lights and decorations closer to xmas: around the 16th of December is when most people put their decorations/lights up.

  22. You should have put them up last weekend

  23. Conserve energy & light candles on Christmas Eve.

  24. I should do it as soon as the shops start selling Christmas cards. That'll be the first week in September.

Edit: ah well this week it is then, lol!

  25. Just a tad. Can`t you wait till December.

Are you attention seeking yet again.

Wait until the Back to Schools promotions are finished in the shops for heavens sake. Poor kids, who wants to be reminded about going back to school, when you still have 3 weeks holiday left. :(

Mind you, i am looking forward to the front garden displays on our local ex-council estate. 2 houses have lights to rival Blackpool and the Virgin Mary, donkeys etc, all on the front lawn. It`s naff, but still brilliant. :) I love xmas.

  26. omd. why do people do this?

christmas is SO overrated now, its become ridiculous!

nooo! we put ours up a week before christmas..

    maan

  27. Novice. I've just got all me Easter eggs sorted.

  28. Any time between now and thanksgiving is WAY to early! Don't help with the over advertisment of Christmas by putting up your lights in August!

  29. day of Thanksgiving or day after, YES!  NO!

  30. My chavvy neighbours still have them up,

Its still all rope lights and fake icicles.

The now deflated santa covered in dog mess is the best thing in their garden, it makes the gnomes and the rusting Cavalier look like they aint trying.

  31. I never put mine up till after the 13th December a habit I got into when my son was at home as the 13th is his birthday and I like to keep the 2 separate
