Question:

When should I reapply Frontline to my cats?

I have two inside cats at home that I've noticed itching alot lately. I haven't put any flea medication on them in some time so I figured I should give them a flea treatment. I had only one application of Frontline left so I applied half to each cat until I can buy some more. I wasn't sure when I would be able to treat them again since I didn't use the whole application. Any advice?

  1. Actually, you should apply one tube to each cat, according to it's weight and you should do it once a month, and mark it on your callender, like i do, i do it each month on the 11th. I hope your cats get better.  rock on & God bless,

  2. you should be able to apply it as soon as you get it. Cats of the right size and age are able to tolerate a full application. Read on the box for wheight categories and ages.

  3. Well I usually use frontline once a month... but, if you only used half a tube per cat, you may want to apply another half a tube after half a month just to be safe. Or, call your local vet.

  4. Your cats are either scrathing because of fleas or an allergy in the house; Since you applied half the application, im also assuming you have the right size and your cats arent very large, 3 weeks would be a good time to re-apply.
