  1. I get married in 30 days and I registered back in March.

  2. I'm getting married at Christmas and I'm not starting one until the end of August.  If you want to start now, certainly, go right ahead.   Products change frequently, and I certainly want my guy involved some since he also cooks. He's really wanting me to include a stainless steel cookware set, so we have to discuss what we actually need.  I just don't really want to be spending a lot of time on registries. I obsess with the computer too much as it is when my guy is out-of-town.

Do start working on a Wedding Web site.  In my case, I will likely have registry items at several places and this puts them all together in one place. My places will include JCPenney, Amazon.com and Target.

  3. We are going to send our invitations out 6 weeks before the wedding.

Therefore we are going to be registered before then, probably at 3 months before the wedding. Just to give people enough time for the bridal shower and all.

  4. Now. People can buy you gifts for your birthday's, Christmas and other things and you can even buy from it yourself as the year goes on if you need certain things. Just add to it as things come off.

  5. I wondered the same thing, so thanks for asking =]

The Knot said 6-8 months prior to the wedding, but I'm not sure if that's good timing, or not.

  6. Just before you send out the invitations.

  7. Now, that way people can give you that for any holidays that are coming including yours and your future hubby's b-day!
