When should I replace my racing flats and spikes??

i run xc and track and i got my spikes when i was a sophmore in xc and i got my racing flats during track my freshman year, now im a senior do you think i should replace them soon? how many miles do you run on them before getting new ones?

i've used them both throughout track, xc and some recreational races so they've been used alot.

  1. With spikes, it usually is when they fall to bits. They last very well.

    With your road flats. WOuld need to look at your shoes closely. Also if you start getting sore calves in a race then that is usually an indication that they are at the end of there life. They do last a while providing you just use them for racing.
