When should I reserve my tickets for best price?

Want best rate for airline tickets.Is there a day of week that is cheaper?Any positive input appreciated..

Supposedly, weekends are most expensive to fly.  Tuesday through Thursday are the cheapest.  There really is no specific time to buy your ticket, the prices can change unpredictably.  I usually buy mine at least a month or two ahead of time because the closer you buy them to the depart date, the more expensive it usually is.

Air fare is usually the cheapest 60 days prior to the flight.  This can vary from flight to flight based upon how much the flight is sold out at any given time.  If a flight sells out early then the final few tickets will be very expensive.
