When should I start my community service?

Question

I am a sophomore currently and I have never done any community service. How many hours are required for an exceptional college? When should I start?

Do they allow patched appearances like every weekend?

well, i dont know what a sophomore is.

and i dont live in america - here in australia, uni entry is based off our TER, not community service.

but we have to do at least 20 hours before we can graduate, so ive done mine.

its not hard, ive done 42 already and im only in year 10.

i volunteered at our wildlife rescue place - we're out in the bush, so theres alot to be done, especially since the vets out here are all large animal ones (for hte cows, horses sheep etc)
