When should I take a home pregnancy test?

My husband and I have been trying to conceive since last December and haven't succeeded, I was on birth control for three years to control my endometriosis. We think that might be reason for not conceiving yet. For the past week or so I've been needing to go urinate more constantly than usual. Yesterday (Tuesday) morning I woke up and went straight to the restroom. After finishing I wiped myself and notice a bit of a brownish pinkish color on the paper. At first I thought I was just seeing things so I wiped again and this time again pinkish brownish with a bit of a red. Since I got off birth control my periods have been normal and not once have I had any spotting. Today I've been getting a bit of a pain towards my lower abdomen and I'm not sure what to do. My period isn't due until next week, should I just wait and see what happens then or should I just take a home pregnancy test before next week?

it sounds like implantation bleed.its when the egg burrows into the uterine lining and implants itself to the wall.once this happens your hcg should double every 2-3 days so if it is implantation then you can test with an early test 3 days before your due period and then again when it should start if neg with first test....good luck!!

If your spotting lasted for 1 day only, around 7 or 8 days after ovulation, then that could be implantation. I would give it a few more days and then test at the weekend. Good luck and keep us posted!

Sounds like implantation, take a test on the first day of your missed period.

As hard as it is to wait, I would wait AT LEAST until the day you are supposed to get your period. Sounds like your spotting could be implantation spotting!!! Good luck! :)

Could be implantation... try testing in the AM.  If it doesnt come back positive yet, try in a few days.  Good luck!!  I cant wait to got prego!
