  1. ok so it depends why you're taking the calcium. If it is for bone health then it is better to take it during the day so that you are physically active and your bones will actually be able to "suck up" the calcium floating around in your blood.

If it is for your nervous system/sleeping/magnesium assistance then take it at night where it will have a mild sedating or relaxing effect and actually help you get to sleep.

With or without food makes no real difference to absorption, just what is easier for you. good luck. VA

  2. Yes, Calcium can be taken at any time of the day (best in at least 2 doses like you're taking), so first thing in the morning is just fine. Typically, Calcium on an empty stomach can be upsetting, so it's best to take it with food.

In addition, it's best to take a Calcium product that has (or is taken with) Vitamin D, Vitamin K, Magnesium, Boron, Zinc, Silica, and/or Copper. Good job!

  3. Well it depends on which supplement you're taking. But generally, it's okay to take it when you wake up in the morning. If you have a weak stomach, you may want to eat a little something first!
