My Everglades Rat Snake has laid her eggs today and she is still coiled around them. Should I take them right out and into the icubator, or should I wait until she leaves the nest box? I don't want to disturb her if she has more coming out. I found her with them when I got home from work so I don't know how long ago she started laying.

  1. I take them out as soon as I see them and put them in the incubator, even if the female is still laying them. The egg laying process can be very tiring and sometimes the female may lay in the nest box for a day or two. And it doesn't bother them if you take them out while they're still laying because they usually go into a sort of trance and don't notice you're taking them.

  2. Put them in the incubator now!!!! move the snake away from the eggs and just take the eggs

  3. take them out as soon as possible...you will have to remove the snake from the eggs...she wont leave them.
