Question:

When should I travel to Ireland?

I've wanted to go to Ireland ever since I was old enough to learn that the US wasn't the only country in the world. I used to be content in the fact that I'd get there "some day".. but telling myself that now just doesn't work anymore. I'm tired of waiting. I live in a place (the south) where people don't travel very far. Everyone sticks to the routes they know. I can't help but think there's so much out there that should be seen. So, what time of year would be best to go to Ireland?

  1. ASAP - You'll love it !

  2. Summer months (June-August) will have the best weather (warmest), but it still can rain at any time.  Traveling in the off-season (fall and winter) can be much cheaper and less crowded.  I prefer off-season traveling myself.  The only set-backs are that of course it will be colder and some attractions may be closed.  On the plus side, the cities look beautiful when they're decorated for the holidays, and it is much easier to find a hotel than in the tourist season when places book up quickly.
