I have no idea between the super tampons and the regular ones...and then theirs light.

I'm new at it....so for like the first two days super? Then middle day regular? Then last days light?

I think that makes sense.....

Can you buy a box of tampons with that variety?

Which ones are the best?

Thank you!

  1. maybe super for your heavy days, regular for you rmedium days and light tampons for light days.

yes, you can sleep in it as long as you take it out when you wake up right away. because of TSS.

OR, you can just use a tampon that is comfortable for you.

  2. You can buy the variety packs with lite, regular and super tampons.  Use the lowest absorbency you need, maybe lite or regular for the first and last day with super in between if you need to.  Using the lowest absorbency will allow removal to be much easier plus it lowers the risk of toxic shock (although with the materials they use today toxic shock is much less likely).  You can sleep with a tampon in, as really what's the difference between being asleep pr doing any other activity.  Just be sure to not leave it in for more than eight hours.  Personally I like the tampax pearl.  Plastic applicators are easier to use then others or those without applicators, especially when you are getting used to using them.  Hope this answers some of your questions...

  3. Process of elimination, deary!

    Whatever you're most comfortable with.

And sleeping with a tampon isn't really advised because it's easier to get TSS.

  4. Start from the lowest and work your way up as you need to.

  5. 1. a woman's period is usually heaviest the first 3 days, so you had it exactly right. go from largest to smallest. but every woman and every cycle is different, so your heaviest days might be at the end of your cycle instead of the beginning. you'll get used to it after a few months and pretty soon you'll know your cycle forwards and back!

    2. i like playtex & o.b because they open all around, which i think gives me better protection, but even if it doesn't it makes me feel more confident, which is always good when its that time of the month!

    3. a tampon can be worn for up to 8 hours, so if you sleep for less than 8 hours yes, you can wear it to bed. if you sleep more than that, then just use a pad. also, the higher the absorbency, the higher your risk of TSS. so keep that in mind as well.

hope this helps good luck! and don't stress. you'll figure it all out. just pay close attention to your body

  6. Always use the lowest absorbency that will adequately protect you. you will find that you probably need a higher absorbency at the start of your period, but can use a slim, or light towards the end. You can buy tampons in variety packs, try OB. you can sleep in any tampon, just make sure you change it after a max of 8 hours.
