  1. All of mine were fixed when they were between 6-9 months per the recommendation of my vet, she said that was a good age to have it done

  3. It is best to check with a rabbit savvy veterinarian in your area:

    Some prefer to go ahead and do the surgery around 4 months of age, some prefer 6 months. However, I've known many older rabbits that have been neutered successfully, so if your rabbit is older than 6 months, it should be fine too.

  4. As soon as possible to prevent bad habits that they get when they become sexually mature.  It also increases the life of your bunny.  I had my boy bunny fixed and he was hopping around normal with in a week and his behavior increased dramatically.  He was much calmer and nicer.
