  1. All bottles should be stopped by 12 months.

  2. i said 2 years old.you can introduced training cup.

  3. We stopped my daughter last month. A few weeks after her first birthday. She has a sip cup now.

  4. I generally stop at 12 months, when they are ready to convert full time to a sippy cup.

  5. My daughter's pediatrician said at 12 months-no more bottle. Only sippy cups. My daughter is almost 10 months and has not even figured out how to suck liquid out of a sippy cup lol. She just chews on it. So idk if that's gonna work out for us.

  6. By the time they are a year and half old.

A child's teeth can not go "bucked" from sucking on a bottle, a pacifier or fingers, by the way.  Bucked teeth is due to the shape of the upper jaw/palate and THAT is caused by genetics.

  7. bottles should stop by 12-14 months of age

  8. i introduced the cup to my son at 10 omnths. Only during the day and gave him one with a soft spout. Once he got used to it I would throw in a real sippy with the hard spout. I still give him a bedtime bottle and he has adjusted well. He will be 1 in a few days and I will take the bottle at night away.

  9. They say you should only use a bottle for the first year ....... after 12 months, they should be using a sippy cup ....... hope this helps ....... = )

  10. o.k. Laugh if ya want. My kids quit having a bottle when they started pulling the nipple out with their teeth, much to my mother in law's chargin. ROTFL...You hear stories if you let kids have the bottle for two long...your teeth can form to have buck teeth, if you don't let them have it long enough...they can have  mental issues....sooooo....I did it my way....*G*

  11. AFTER THERE FIRST BDAY!

  12. I would say about a year old because after that bottles can effect the way a babies teeth comes in.

  13. You should work with your child at 6 months of age, one that has handles.  My 1 year old now drinks out of a regular cup and doesn't take one to bed at all.  It makes their teeth buck out.  Contact the website if you like to get more info.

Also, you shouldn't give kids juice it isn't good for their teeth.

If you do convert to a sippy cup they shouldn't have to suck on it to get the liquid out.  That is what a bottle does.

  14. I am very opinionated about when bottles should end. I think that about a year, when you usually introduce cows milk is the time to just throw the bottles out. The child should all ready be learning the concept of sippy cups so the transition should not be that hard. I definitely don't think that they should go to bed with bottles at all.

  15. By one.  My doc told me with each of my kids to introduce the sippy at 5-6 months with 1/2 juice 1/2 water (I breast fed).  As for the milk.....you put the baby on whole milk at 12 months and take the formula away, by this time, they should def. be off of the bottle and on a sippy.  I would reccommend introducing him/her to a Nuby sippy cup.  They are easiest for them to transition to from a bottle.
