i have a female german shepherd puppy when should i breed her?

You should breed her once she's been shown in AKC (american) conformation trials, achieved a championship or close to it, once she's had all her health certifications done (hips and shoulders are extremely important in GSD), you and your breed mentor have researched her pedigree to asess any potential flaws that could arise in her litter, researched pedigrees of potential sires to find the best match.  

By this time she'll be two years old at least, which is a good thing, and by this time you'll probably have learned enough to realize that there are thousands of abandoned pet dogs in shelters that are euthanized every day, and that the world doesn't need more at this time.

you dont need to breed her. but if you want to, you will have to wait until she is 2, read everything about breeding, go to shows, even enter her into shows when she is 6 months old. get health tests done on her

To directly answer your question, you should breed your dog once she's reached CH. level or is on the way to it (or is an outstanding working dog), she's been cleared with OFA, CERF, and your vet, and you've had a breeding mentor for at least 3-5 years.

get her a clear certificate of health after 2 years find a male with the same make sure she conforms to the breed standard and get a waiting list of at least 10 qualified owners
