When should i change my details?

My house i'm building is about 3=4 days away from me moving in. and id like know when it would be ready for me to change my detais and when it would be known legally with the council. as in mail delivery.

Ive never built before and this concept is new to me?

I live in Melbourne Australia if thats of any use.

You need to go down to Council and approch them with this issue - they should be able to give you a clear idea of when they will pass the house into your hands and then you can change all your details!~
