When should i do a follow up call? and what should i say when i am talking to the HR personnel?

i sent my resume saturday night and the website to said and call back for a follow up call in a few days

  1. Introduce yourself and ask them if they received your resume and if they had any questions about it or needed any further information. That should open the line of communication and just go from there.


  2. I would give it a week and then call the HR and remind them of who you are.  Then ask them if they have made any decision on the resume that you sent to them, if not when would they expect to hand down that decision.  Thank them for their time and courtesy and let it go.
