When should i expect to know if i am accepted?

I applied for spring admissions at the university of texas at austin. The deadline is october 1st, so i am in a little early, but does anyone know how long i should wait before i hear? Will it happen soon or should i expect it closer to the end of the year?

They start sending out acceptances starting the beginning of November and do it on a rolling basis. I know the feeling of having to wait. You put your application in very early to look more desirable but then the wait is extremely long. You can always go the website and check the status of your application.Good Luck though!
