When should i have my baby shower?

My babies(I'm having twin girls), are due December 19. I was thinking about having it in November 19, a month before the baby comes, and doing sort of a winter theme. But, i might not be pregnant by November 19, since i'm having twins, and they can pretty much come at any time.

When should i have my baby shower, and please answer if you're a mommy whos had twins before!

My sister-in-law had her girls 3 weeks early. So, I think you maybe cutting it kind of close.  Maybe a few fews earlier would be better and you'll feel more like doing it then too.

I would suggest mid-late September or early October.  That way you will be more comfortable and not too close to your due date.  My friend had her twins about 5 weeks early- so plan to be early.

Usually you should give yourself 2months before your schedule due date and the babyshower. SInce you are caring twins there is a high possibility that you might deliver sooner then a regular pregnancy. I say give yourself atleast 3 months. Since most pregnancies are delivered in between their 6 and 7th month of pregnancy.

Wait and see if someone has one for you.  I don't think it's appropriate to plan your own..that's like asking for gifts'

why not have it in October?  If you have it in november you will be getting close to the thanksgiving holiday.
