When should i leave for the airport??

Im flying out sunday and i am wondering when i should be at the airport. my departure is at 1:15 and it takes an hour to get to the airport. Any ideas on when i should leave?

I usually leave my house 3 hours prior to the departure time (and it takes about 45 minutes to get to my airport).

since its the summer season, you should probably leave your house at around 10:15 am.

Well, if it takes you one hour to get to the airport, then you should, dah dah, probably leave your home for the airport about 9:00. And then you should have plenty of time to drive, check in and go through SECURITY. DAH

It depends on the airport whether it is crowded or not. I will suggest you reach the airport by 11 am for international flights which gives you 2h 15mins time to check in etc. and 12noon for domestic flights which gives you 1h15mins.

if it's an international flight, you should be at the airport at 11:15, that means leaving your house at 10:15.

But if it's a domestic flight, one your in advance on the airport is enough, so you can leave at 11:15 :)

But do you normally take an hour to get there on week days (which means traffic) or the distance makes it at least an hour?!

considering it's sunday, you wont take a lot of time on the roads cos they might be well clean ;)

Ps: it's always a good thing to take a spare undie and clothes on your hand luggage, you never know where your case will stop :(

you should plan to arrive at the airport 2 hours before you flight leaves.  so you should leave your house at around 10.

Put all liquids in those small bags and wear shoes that are easy to take on and off.. and remember, pack light so you can bring stuff home with you!
