When should i re dye my hair? please help!?

i had dyed my hair dark black and i didn't like it so i went to the hairsalon so they could bleach my hair and then dye it brown...but my hair came out red brown black all kinds of colors =/ ...i don't like it at all and my birthday is in 2 weeks! how long should i wait to redye it with out having to go back to the hair salon??

A couple of years ago I had a bad boo boo like thats. I gost my mum to put do it at home blonde streaks in my hair and the streaks turned BRIGHT ORANGE!!!!!!! It was sooooooo terrible and I cried, buts the next day I took my chances and the next day, dyed over its all a dark brown, I mean it couldn't gest much worse than that so I had to try something. And it dyded completly backs over the boo booed areas and looked perfect. But I had dyed my hair a couple of weeks b4 with a 6 week wash and that's when things seem to go wrong when you don't wait for the amount of time it says on the packet. If I were you, I'd gest non perminant dyes. like 6 or  8 week dyes or 8 wash dyes, so that you can keep track of the amount of time according to the dye to re-dye it's again. Maybe you could die over its a dark colour like I did, it also seems it can't gest too much worse, so you mays well try its. Hope this helps. :]
