  1. when you actually are in the military and pass bootcamp then it depends on which rank you are ex e1 e2.

  2. Are you in a special program or something? anyways payday is the 1st and 15th.

  3. Once you hit basic training, usually within 3 to 5 weeks. You need to to get inprocessed (done within the first week) and after that, it';s just a matter of when your finance papers get processed. If they're done by the 5th of the month, it'll reflect on the 15th. If it's done by the 20th, it'll reflect on the 1st.

    Hope that helps.

  4. Immediately you are in bootcamp, but you will not get E-1 pay (well, the Marine Corps is different than Army).

You have to pay for your hygiene gear and cleaning equipment for the squad bay with some kind of funds.  They don't give you free uniforms nor free hygiene (soap, toothbruch, etc.).  That comes out of your own pocket - the money you earn while in bootcamp will provide you.  You won't be paying for the uniforms personally, they take it out of your pay.

Military pay is every 1st and 15th of the month.

  5. You won't get paid until your pay is processed while you are in Basic Training, like your 3rd or 4th week into BT, you will get a small advance your first week of basic to cover your basic needs (they charge you for your first haircut).  But you won't see a dime from them until you are almost a month into basic, you won't get paid while waiting for your start date.   If your ROTC commander will give you a recommendation letter you may qualify to join as an e-2, your base pay would be 1427 a month

  6. When Bush gets out of Office!!
